Lithuania's packaging equipment manufacturer Fasa cooperates with the Swiss butter and margarine technology producer Egli AG, according the business daily Verslo Zinios reported on Tuesday writes LETA/BNS.

"The Egli AG brand is stronger in Europe and the US. The Swiss offer Fasa's products there along with their own equipment. We already have the first sales via Egli AG: one project in Germany and another in Angola," it quoted Fasa CEO Karolis Samusis as saying.

"We are traditionally stronger in the CIS countries and we offer Egli AG products there," he said.

According to the CEO, it is quite possible that 80% of the Egli AG production will be moved to Marijampole, a southern Lithuanian town where Fasa is based, in three to five years' time.

Fasa's sales revenue last year fell to 4.1 mln euros, from 4.7 mln euros in 2015. Its net profit, however, soared by 55% to 0.26 mln euros.
