Ardi Ratassepp to head Omniva's international business

Ardi Ratassepp is to become head of the international business of the state owned Estonian postal and logistics company Eesti Post operating under the Omniva brand as of Jan. 9, 2017, writes LETA/BNS.

"The international e-commerce business is a quickly growing field in Omniva which needs systemic management and development," CEO of Eesti Post, Aavo Karmas, said in a press release. "Ardi has experience in the field of e-commerce and logistics, and he has also previously been a part of Omniva launching its international business," he added.

Ratassepp has previously worked as head of Telia Estonia's trade business and head of Omniva's logistics division.


In this year's third quarter the international business grew the most of the segments of Eesti Post, totaling 142% compared with the same period in 2015.


Omniva's international business mainly includes global logistics of China's e-commerce parcels.


AS Eesti Post is an international group offering postal, logistics, and information logistics services. The group comprises AS Eesti Post as the parent company, AS Maksekeskus, UAB Omniva LT in Lithuania and SIA Omniva in Latvia, and the affiliated company Post11.


AS Eesti Post is a 100% state-owned company in the area of government of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications.
