Lithuanian vets screening Biovela products

Lithuanian veterinary services have opened a thorough check of the production of Biovela Group, Lithuania's leading meat processing company, after discovery of E.coli bacteria discovered in the company's production for the Latvian market. Biovela's CEO Zilvinas Lenktaitis told LETA/BNS the company was recalling the bacteria-infected production from Latvian retail chains.
