Rolandas Virsilas, who was appointed manager of the Estonian and Latvian beverage makers Saku and Aldaris after Margus Kastein left that position on Tuesday, has said he will perform the duties until the end of the year at most, until a new manager has been appointed, reports LETA/BNS.

"My aim is to work with the Saku team toward the goals that have been set, I will be performing the duties of CEO in a temporary capacity until the end of the year, until a new chairman of the board is appointed," told Virsilas, manager of the Lithuanian beverage house Svyturys-Utenos.

Jaan Harms, sales and marketing director at Saku, said the company's business will continue as usual.

"We will continue working toward the goals that have been set, the operating indicators of Saku have been strong this year," Harms added, highlighting Virsilas's experience as manager of Svyturys-Utenos for the past ten years and his former work as part of the top management of both Saku and Aldaris.

Margus Kastein, whose leaving as manager of the Estonian beverage house Saku and the Latvian beverage maker Aldaris was announced on Tuesday, has described his parting of ways with Carlsberg Group as mutually respectful and not connected with the quitting of Marketing Director Kadri Arm.
