Baltcom losses increase in 2015

Internet and cable TV provider Baltcom posted EUR 19.7 mln in turnover and EUR 5.3 mln in losses last year, as LETA learned at the company.
In 2014, Baltcom's turnover totaled EUR 15.7 mln
and losses EUR 194,552, while in 2013 the company turned over EUR 15.9 mln and
earned EUR 1.082 mln in profit, according to Firmas.lv.
Investments in the company's development have
been growing for several years, Baltcom informs - last year investments
amounted to EUR 4.2 mln, while this year the company is planning to invest EUR
5 mln in development.
Baltcom belongs to the Luxembourg-registered
Rpax One S.A. At the beginning of June, mobile telecommunications operator Bite
Latvija, a company that belongs to the U.S. investment company Providence
Equity Partners, bought 28.5 % stake in Rpax One S.A.
The other Rpax One S.A. co-owners are companies
Ardian and Resource Partners.
