Baltika's Lithuanian clothes chain posts stable FY sales, lower profit

Estonian-owned Lithuanian clothes retailer Baltika Lietuva last year posted 12.107 mln euros in revenue, down 1.3% from 12.263 mln euros in 2014, informs LETA/BNS.

Net profits halved in 2015 from 2014 to 174,700 euros, the company, which operates stores under the brand names of Monton, Mosaic, Ivo Nikkolo and Baltman, said in its 2015 annual report filed with the Center of Registers.

 

Baltika Lietuva opened one new store in 2015 and had 29 stores at the end of the year. The company does not plan to close any stores this year, but it plans invest in the chain.

 

The company, which is 100% owned by Estonia's Baltman, employed 203 people in late 2015.
