Latvia’s Balticovo egg producer gets new board chairman

Print versionVadims Vlasovs has been elected board chairman of Latvia’s Balticovo egg and egg products producer, writes LETA.

Vlasovs so far has been in leading positions in such companies as StoraEnso B&L, Laima, Staburadze, Gutta and Cido Partikas Grupa, said Balticovo spokesman Armands Sterns.
Former board chairman Andris Platais has terminated his labor relations with the company.
Balticovo council chairman Valdis Grimze believes that changes in the management will promote steeper company’s growth and project development.
Changes in the company’s management were registered on July 1.
In 2014 Balticovo generated EUR 42.79 mln in sales and earned EUR 2.15 mln in profit.
Balticovo, founded in 1992, is the leading producer of eggs and egg products in Latvia, exporting 70% of its output. The company's largest owner is BCO (95%).
