Lithuania's Umega buys German Walter Th. Hennecke

Print versionUmega, a Lithuanian-capital metal processing company, has purchased Walter Th. Hennecke German metal processor for an unnamed sum, informs LETA/BNS.

"We did not just purchase a company but also a partner, which will help us raise the level of quality and service for our clients, competences for our employees, experience on the technological level of metal processing processes," Umega said on its website.
The Lithuanian company purchased 100% of the German enterprise's shares. It will be Umega's sixth subsidiary outside Lithuania.
With a staff of over 200 people, Hennecke's has posted annual turnover of about 30 million euros. Hennecke produces customized sheet metal, uses robots and features automated production processes from the blueprint to packaging.
