Latvijas Finieris reduces share capital

Print versionLatvijas Finieris wood-processing group has reduced its share capital to EUR 46.473 million from EUR 47.111 million, informs LETA, according to the announcement in the official newspaper Latvijas Vestnesis.

The company’s shareholders at the meeting on May 13 decided to reduce the share capital by EUR 638,837 through redemption of shares. After the reduction the company’s share capital is EUR 46.473 million comprised by 5,447 shares.
In 2014, Latvijas Finieris generated EUR 194.1 million in turnover compared to EUR 187.3 million in 2013 and earned a profit of EUR 11.76 million against EUR 11.1 million in 2013. The company’s has not yet made public its financial results for 2015.
Founded in 1992, Latvijas Finieris produces and sells birch plywood products and provides related services to its customers. Latvijas Finieris is also active in forest management, logging and production of synthetic resin and phenol films.
