LMT in Latvia posts EUR 22.1 mln profit for 2015

Latvijas Mobilais Telefons (LMT) mobile telecommunications group generated EUR 22.1 million in profit in 2015, the company's long-standing CEO Juris Binde said on January 29th, cites LETA.

The LMT Group's annual turnover was EUR 179.2 million in 2015.

 

LMT mobile operator closed 2014 with EUR 19.6 million in profit and EUR 144 million in turnover, according to the data of Firmas.lv. The LMT Group, meanwhile, reported EUR 161.3 million in turnover and EUR 22 million in profit for 2014.

 

The company's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) came to EUR 59.4 million last year.

 

Founded in 1992, LMT is the oldest mobile operator in Latvia. LMT shareholders are Scandinavia's TeliaSonera (49%), Lattelecom (23%), the state-owned Latvian State Radio and Television Center (23%), and the Latvian Transport Ministry (5%).
