Number of companies with tax debts grew in H1 in Estonia

Print versionAfter a declining trend that lasted for five years, the number of companies with tax debts has started growing again in the first half of 2015, writes Äripäev.ee/LETA.

Statistics on Estonian enterprises' payment behaviour compiled by Krediidiinfo (Credit Information) revealed that the share of companies with tax debts grew from 4.6% to 5.3% in a year.
A total of 3,634 actively operating Estonian companies have tax debts.
The share of enterprises with tax debts has grown in nearly all sectors, but in particular in the accommodation and catering sector (10%), construction sector (9.4%) and the processing industry sector (8.6%).
