Latvijas Loto turns over almost EUR 22 mln in 2014

The state-owned joint-stock lottery company Latvijas Loto turned over EUR 21.89 million last year, reports LETA, according to Firmas.lv information.

This is 13% more than in 2013, when the company turned over EUR 19.45 million. Last year, the company earned EUR 3.52 million, 20% more than in 2013, when the company's profit reached EUR 2.92 million.

 

EUR 3,164,707 or 90% of last year's profit will be paid in dividends, while the remaining portion – EUR 351,634 – will be used to increase the company's reserves.

 

Last year, Latvijas Loto focused on strengthening its positions in the Latvian lottery and gambling market.

 

The company's online lottery ticket sales increased, while lottery "Eurojacket" became the second most popular lottery in Latvia last year.

 

Latvijas Loto was founded on July 24, 1992. Its share capital is EUR 284,574. The Finance Ministry is the sole owner of Latvijas Loto.
