Lauma Fabrics saw 3% reduction in turnover and 4-fold drop in profits in 2014

Textile producer Lauma Fabrics achieved EUR 38.32 million in turnover in 2014, which was 3% less when compared to the previous year, reports LETA, according to Firmas.lv.

In 2013, the company achieved EUR 39.85 million in turnover.

 

Lauma Fabrics also posted EUR 1.026 million in profit last year, which is an almost four-fold reduction when compared to 2013, when the company posted EUR 3.93 million in turnover.

 

The company also points out in its financial report that it invested EUR 1.691 million in new equipment and technologies last year.

 

The company also plans to achieve EUR 42.355 million in turnover this year and invest another EUR 3.04 million in development.

 

The company's major markets last year were Belarus, the Baltic States, Ukraine, Poland, Russia and France.

 

Lauma Fabrics employs 530 persons and belongs to the Cyprus-registered company Myrtyle Ventures Limited.
