Authorities raid the Riga Central Market

LTV's Six-o-Clock News reported that Corruption Prevention Bureau agents conducted a search in the office of Riga Central Market CEO Anatolijs Abramovs on July 7th, according to sources in Riga Town Hall.
A lower level manager has been taken into custody, and, as the sources report, the search is connected to a scheme where employees were double dealing for profit supposedly vacant produce/merchandise stands or booths in the Market's section open all night, informs LETA.
Statistics show the joint-stock Rigas Centraltirgus earning EUR 156,502 in 2013 on a EUR 7 million turnover.
