EU – Baltic States, Industry, Latvia, Legislation, Markets and Companies, Security

''International Security and Defence Conference'' in Vilnius concentrated on industry and ministries of defence dialogue in Baltics. Participants could share experience with industries organisations and businesses in Netherlands, Germany, Spain, United Kingdom, Ukraine and Georgia. Briefings about business opportunities were given from high level representatives of NATO Communication and Information Agency), NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence and Ministries of Defence of Lithuania and Estonia.

The common co-operation and co-ordination of the defence and security industries of the allied countries is a logical continuation of current developments.

Chairwoman of the Board of FSDI Latvia Elīna Egle: ''United Kingdom has strong and deep industry traditions. Cooperation with ADS Group will give an opportunity for the members and partners of FSDI Latvia to reach new partnerships and to integrate into global supply chain together with strong players. The first practical step will be organising business networking during the one of the largest and influential defence exhibitions in the worlds – Defence and Security Equipment International'' on 15-18 September in London. During this exhibition the first national stand of Latvia's industry and science will be present. while re-gaining independence.''
