"In recent years, attempts have been made to export to the Russian Federation territory Estonian fish that does not comply with veterinary and sanitary requirements," said Rosselhoznadzor in a letter, which was sent to Estonia's Food and Veterinary Board.

"We pay attention to the fact that the fish contains harmful residues and substances that are prohibited in the EU Member States and in the United States," added the agency.
