According to Gustas, more and more companies opt for LEAN strategy. Such companies undertake bold changes, which stimulate not only their own development, but economic growth on a larger scale. LEAN strategy allows companies to create an effective culture favourable for constant development, which stimulates strategic business changes.

The economy minister says he feels the responsibility that Lithuanian state institutions would apply business innovations more broadly and would facilitate business conditions. According to the minister, this is the constant objective and the fundamental goal of the Ministry of Economy.

Gustas says that initiatives aimed at improving business conditions are being successfully and consistently implemented. The administrative burden is being reduced, licensing of activities facilitated, new declaration models introduced and business supervision revamped.
