In 2014, the drug wholesaler Roche Latvija managed to maintain its turnover on the same level as in 2013, according to Firmas.lv information, cites LETA.

In 2014, Roche Latvija turned over EUR 29.21 million, which is 1 percent more than in 2013, when the company's turnover reached EUR 29.13 million. Meanwhile, the company's profit in 2014 dropped 17.7 percent, reaching EUR 385,837; in 2013 – EUR 469,263.

The company's management report indicates that the current economic situation keeps affecting the reimbursement drug market. The allocated budget for reimbursable drugs in 2015 was insignificant. The company is assuming large responsibility, while bureaucratic and economic processes are hindering its development.

Taking into account the economic situation, the company expects a slight increase in turnover. The company's main focus this year is on oncology, rheumatology, and nephrology. Roche Latvija continues carrying out oncological studies this year as well.

Roche representation was established in Latvia in 1997. On September 1, 2005, it was restructured and began operations as Roche Latvija. The company's share capital is EUR 284,400. Roche Latvija fully belongs to the Swiss company Roche Finanz AG.
