Service quality of Estonian supermarkets is the lowest in the Baltics

Service quality of Estonian supermarkets is the lowest in the Baltic States, but the level has fallen in all three countries in 2014, LETA/Postimees Online reports.

The results of a study based on the secret purchases' methodology conducted by the research company Dive indicates that as compared to the year 2013, the service levels of stores have decreased in all Baltic countries.

 

The biggest decline took place in Lithuania where 82% of test buyers were satisfied with service quality versus 89% last year. In Latvia, the decline was from 85% to 79%, and in Estonia from 83% to 78%.

 

In Estonia, the best-performing supermarket chain was Selver where 87.8% of clients were satisfied with the service, followed by Prisma with 85.5% and Comarket with 81.6%.
