Drug sales turnover in Latvia in January – EUR 29.28 mln

Print versionThe total turnover for drug sales in Latvia in January 2015 reached EUR 29.28 million, the State Agency Of Medicine informed LETA.

This is 1% more than in December 2014, and 6% more than in January 2014.
General type drugstores sold medication in the amount of EUR 25.28 million.
A total of 492 different drugs included in the Drug Register of Latvia were exported from Latvia, including 208 from the list of state compensated drugs in the amount of EUR 5.71 million, which is 3% less than in the previous month.
In January, the average price of one medication package was EUR 6.84.
