Aldis Paulins in as Latvian State Radio's CEO

Print versionThe National Electronic Mass Media Council has selected sociologist and head of the Factum Group public opinion research agency, Aldis Paulins, as CEO at Latvian State Radio, LETA learned from the Electronic Mass Media Council.

Former BNS Latvija editor in chief Sigita Kirilka and Latvian State Radio and Television Center member Uldis Lavrinovics will serve as Latvian Radio's board members.
The candidates were assessed in three rounds taking into consideration their experience, education, motivation, and notion of a public media's role.
A total of 19 applications for the competition were received originally. The job opening was announced on November 3.
