Chinese PM: our market is open for Estonian goods

Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang said that the relations between Estonia and China are in a new starting point now and the doors of the Chinese market are open for Estonian goods, LETA/Eesti Päevaleht writes.

The Chinese Prime Minister told Eesti Päevaleht that he supports the Estonian goods coming to the Chinese market.

 

"Estonia's distinguished and high-quality dairy products and bottled waters might well try to get the attention of Chinese middle and higher-income customers," said Li Keqiang.

 

"China intends to encourage its enterprises to buy Estonia's distinctive goods and support them in this," said the Prime Minister.

 

"We hope that the Estonian industrial organizations and companies take full advantage of both the bilateral cooperation mechanisms as well as the multilateral platforms of different participants to better market themselves and build on the Chinese market an Estonian competitive products brand."

 

The summit of 16 Central and East European states and China takes place on Monday in Belgrade, Serbia. In connection with that, the Chinese government provided a rather are opportunity to ask prime minister Li Keqiang specific questions concerning bilateral relations.

 

Eesti Päevaleht asked from Prime Minster Keqiang, in what state the development of trade relations between China and Estonia is.
