Millionaire Rozhetskin’s remains found in Latvian forest

The remains of a man found in a forest in Tukums Region in Latvia at the beginning of August 2012 most likely belong to the Russia-born U.S. millionaire Leonid Rozhetskin.

Forensic experts have concluded that Rozhetskin's DNA, found at his home in Jurmala, matches the man's remains, reports LETA.

 

However, to verify that the remains truly belong to Rozhetskin, his DNA profile will be compared with the one of his family members.

 

As reported, when the men's body was discovered, it was already in a state of decomposition. The contents of his pockets included a credit card belonging to Rozhetskin, The remains were sent for forensic tests to establish identity.

 

Rozhetskin disappeared in Jurmala on March 16, 2008. He went missing under suspicious circumstances from his private home in Jurmala, Kapu Street, between 0:15 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. After Rozhetskin went missing, the police found his empty SUV and blood traces at his home.
