All referendum votes in Latvia are counted

Even though Saturday's referendum on the Constitutional amendments, that would give the people the right in the future to vote on dissolving Saeima, fell short of the required 750,000 votes in favor, 96.75% of the 628,902 voters cast their votes "for".

This according to data from the Central Election Commission (CEC), reporting from all 998 polling stations.

 

608,446 voted for the right to dissolve Saeima, 18,841 or 3% were opposed.
