At 10:52 a.m. on Tuesday morning, the alarm center received a call that a Skoda Octavia passenger car had collided with a self-driving electric bus in Tallinn's Ulemiste City district, according the Estonian daily Postimees information writes LETA/BNS.

There were five people on the electric bus at the time of the collision, but no one was injured in the accident.

The traffic accident took place at the intersection of Lennujaama Road and Sepise Street, where a Skoda passenger car unexpectedly drove in front of a self-driving bus moving along the main road. Due to the unexpected maneuver, the response time was too short to avoid a collision.

The police recorded what happened and the self-driving bus will return to the route as soon as possible.

The self-driving bus is being tested at Ulemiste within the framework of the international project FABULOS. The bus travels at a maximum of 15 kilometers per hour and always has its operator on board as well.
