Beta testing of updated e-voting system started in Estonia

Print versionThe beta testing of Estonia's updated e-voting environment at www.valimised.ee started on August 16th in preparation for the fall municipal elections, informs LETA/BNS.

In the course of testing all voting-age residents can cast a vote for the
most beautiful natural place, spokesperson Kristi
Kirsberg said.
The election organizers are thankful to all testers who will contribute to
testing the updated system, she added.
The test voting will take place until 6 p.m. on Aug. 18.
The election day is on Oct. 15, while electronic voting will kick off at 9
a.m. on Oct. 5 and will last until 8 p.m. on Oct. 11.
