Riigikogu supported third bail-out package for Greece

Print versionWith a majority vote in the plenary assembly, Riigikogu supported today the draft Memorandum of Understanding to be concluded between the European Commission and Greece, writes LETA/Postimees Online.

50 MPs voted in favour of the proposal, whereas 37 were against, and there were no MPs who remained neutral.
“The objectives of the programme include restoring Greece's public finance capability, implement reforms supporting economic growth, employment and investments, restore financial stability and significantly reform public administration,” said the Minister of Finance Sven Sester in his speech in front of the Estonian Parliament.
