In the first four months of 2015, the embassy received 2,446 visa applications, which is 1,558 visas or 175% more than in the respective period last year.

In April 2015, as compared with April 2014, the number of tourist visa applications increased almost ten times. This demonstrates that Georgian tourists are interested in Latvia, the embassy says.

The Latvian Embassy to Georgia, in collaboration with the national airline airBaltic, organized an informative seminar for Georgian travel agencies on May 8^th 2015 to inform them about tourism opportunities in Latvia.
