Estonia's Julianus bought a competitor

Estonia's largest debt collection company Julianus Grupp OÜ announced that it acquired OÜ Castovanni, a debt collection agency operating in Estonia and Latvia, whose growth they had carefully watched, Äripäev.ee/LETA reports.

Castovanni OÜ is mainly focused on the financial sector debts and solving complex and older debt cases. "We observed the growth of Castovanni carefully, and they have been a true comet – Castovanni became one of the three biggest companies in the Estonian debt collection market last year," said Board Chairman of Julianus Ülar Maapalu.

 

Castovanni's manager and former owner Oliver Markvart continues managing the whole Julianus Inkasso management procedures sphere.

 

Julianus Grupp had a turnover of 1.525 million euros in Estonia last year, OÜ Castovanni had a turnover of 818,000 euros last year in Estonia and Latvia.

 

Castovanni continues after the transaction acting as an independent brand. The transaction price is the confidential agreement between the parties.

 

Julianus Inkasso is a credit management services company that operates since 1994 and has subsidiaries in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, and in Estonia owns credit information services company OÜ Krediidiregister.
