Vice-Minister Germanas underlined that high-level dialogue and development of the people-to-people contact, in particular young people, were of great importance to the promotion of bilateral relations and initiatives. Cooperation between China and sixteen Central and Eastern European countries in the “1+16” format is a great platform for cooperation in the fields of transport, infrastructure, banking sector, agriculture, education, and other areas.

Lithuania calls on China to grant an export permit for food products as soon as possible. Trade cooperation between Lithuania and China’s Shandong Province, with the population of 97 million, has increased and brought many economic benefits.
