Over 651,000 Estonians submitted income declarations by deadline

BC, Tallinn, 01.04.2015.Print version
Nearly 651,500 Estonian people submitted their income declarations on last year's income by deadline on March 31, 2015, which exceeded the expectations of the tax and customs board, LETA/Public Broadcasting reports.

Head of board's service department Rivo Reitmann told the public radio that the board itself had hoped that around 640,000 declarations would be submitted.

"The request is for those who have not yet declared their income, to still do it urgently," said Reitmann and confirmed that they will not penalize those who were late.

This year, 96% of the declarations were submitted electronically.
