BC, Riga, 01.04.2015.Print version
The Constitutional Protection Bureau has indeed cleared Health Minister Guntis Belevics (Greens/Farmers) and granted him access to confidential information, Prime Minister Laimdota Straujuma's (Unity) press secretary Aiva Rozenberga confirmed to LETA.
Rozenberga added that the access privilege will be valid for a duration of seven months.
This development was confirmed earlier today by Straujuma's order for all Cabinet ministers, without exception, to convene for a meeting to review sensitive documents.
As reported, Belevics was not informed about being granted access due to a health conference in Riga on Monday.
