Snoras' former co-owner seeks EUR 555 mln from Lithuania

Print versionVladimir Antonov, a former co-owner of Lithuania's bankrupt bank Snoras, has filed a lawsuit with a Moscow arbitration court seeking 40 billion rubles (EUR 555 mln) in damages from Lithuania, 15min.lt writes, reports LETA/BNS according Ria-Novosti information.

Antonov is claiming half of the amount as compensation for losses incurred and the other half in damages to his business reputation
The suit was filed on Aug. 5. The first hearing is scheduled for Sept. 22.
Snoras' operations were suspended on Nov. 16, 2011 and bankruptcy proceedings against the bank were opened on Dec. 7 of that year.
