Health Ministry's State Secretary Zvidrina to be appointed head of State Land Service
The matter was discussed at the Coalition Cooperation Council's meeting earlier this week, and now all the necessary documents are being prepared so the government could consider transferring Zvidrina to the Land Service next week.
Zvidrina is to take her new office on August 19.
According to LETA archive, Zvidrina was appointed Health Ministry's state secretary in December 2014. Before that she worked as the head of the State Regional Development Agency, director of the Finance Ministry's Budget Department, and state secretary at the Culture Ministry.
As reported, the previous Land Service director general Elita Baklane-Ansberga handed in her resignation to Justice Minister Dzintars Rasnacs at the end of July. She said she was stepping down for personal reasons.
August 18 will be Baklane-Ansberga's last day in office .
