Lithuania and Kazakhstan increase quota of universal permits

Lithuanian carriers have received good news as the representatives of Lithuania and Kazakhstan agreed to increase the annual quota of universal permits by 500 units. In addition, the quota of permits to be exchanged for year 2014 was also increased, reports LETA/ELTA.

"Lithuanian transport and logistics companies are very interested in the Kazakh market. Trade relations between both countries are becoming stronger, whereas export and import is increasing as well. Therefore, the increased number of permits provides more opportunities and greater market," at the Common Transport Commission meeting said head of Lithuanian delegation Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Algis Zvaliausas.
