Drug wholesalers' turnover in Latvia reaches EUR 27.99 mln in September

Print versionThe total turnover of drug wholesalers in Latvia in September 2014 reached EUR 27.99 million, the State Agency of Medicines informed LETA.

In comparison with August, drug wholesalers' turnover has increased by 16%; in comparison with September 2014 – by 7%. The average price for one pack of medicine drug wholesalers sold in September was EUR 6.85.
General drugstores sold medication in the amount of EUR 24.10 million in September.
A total of 458 different drugs included in the Drug Register of Latvia were exported from Latvia. The most popular drugs in September were "Ibumetin 400", "Conor 5", "Xymelin", "Mezym", "Paracetamol Actavis", "Heart function improving drops Valentis", "Ibustar 400", "Validolum", and "Vibrocil".
