Print versionThe story of the very first batch of Daumantu mayonnaise made in a bucket has become a legend. This was how three residents of Kedainiai town started their condiment business more than two decades ago, informs LETA/ELTA, referring to Lietuvos rytas.

"We have been friends since we were young. We were even dating the same girls. If that did not make us angry with each other back then, then there is no reason for any conflicts now," said head of the company Saulius Grinkevicius about his business partners Romanas Seliava and Robertas Neimontas.
According to him, there were no conflicts and grudge also for the reason that none of them wanted to earn all the money in the world. "I told my partners: when we start selling 100 bottles a month, we will drive a Mercedes. Now we sell around 1.5-2 million bottles a month," said the co-owner of the company Daumantai LT who now drives a Ferrari.
