New car sales surged in Estonia in September y-o-y

Print versionThe Estonian Car Sales and Servicing Companies Union AMTEL data indicates that 1,841 new cars were sold in Estonia in September 2014, by nearly 19% more than September last year and also the best result since 2007, LETA/Public Broadcasting reports.

In the first nine months of the year, 15,874 new cars have been delivered to clients, by 4% more than at the same time last year.
The most popular car brand was in September this year Toyota with 263 cars sold, followed by Skoda with 196 cars and Honda with 160 cars.
50 electric cars were sold in September.
