The joint-stock plywood maker Latvijas finieris is planning to start construction of a new veneer production facility in Kurzeme province, as the company's spokeswoman Jolanta Medne told the Nozare.lv business portal, cites LETA.

Neither the projected investment amount, nor the location of the new facility have been disclosed yet.

"The designs for the facility in Kurzeme will be developed by the company UPB projekti, whose experience in architecture spans several decades," added Medne.
