A young fashion designer from Latvia Alise Aleksandra is proud to present the new collection inspired by the architecture and nature. The designer is planning to base the label both in Latvia and London, UK, reports Alise Aleksandra Pavara.

She has just launched a project on Kickstarter in order to be able to work on the next collection that she is planning to launch next spring. By backing Alise Aleksandra on Kickstarter, you pre-order necklaces, handbags, wallets, clothes or shoes with free delivery worldwide before the label hits London stores.

Her designs play with contrasting fabric texture alignments, combining leather and silk with wool. The looks are enhanced by wood prints, as well as the use of laser engraved wood and acrylic glass both in clothing and accessories.

We all want quality, functionality and beautiful clothes and accessories that make us stand out and that’s what Alise Aleksandra stands for. Whether you work in a conservative office environment and look for something you could wear to work and after drinks in the evening, or someone who loves creative things and is not afraid to show it by wearing something more extravagant, then this label is for you.

In order to get the new business and clothing line off the ground, she has turned to crowd-funding site Kickstarter. The way to buy the clothes and accessories is to “pre-order” by becoming a backer to support the campaign. The Kickstarter campaign is successful if £ 15 000 worth of product is pre-ordered by September 29. When the goal is met, she will go into production of the new collection and she will follow up with all backers on size and style. Products will be delivered nicely packed in a gift box to your door in/around December, well in time for the Christmas time – a good idea for someone’s present.
