Baltika increased sales revenue by 20% in August y-o-y

Estonia’s Baltika generated nearly five million euros in consolidated sales revenue in August 2014, which was 20% more than during the same month last year, writes Postimees Online.

Consolidated sales revenue generated by the group amounted to 4.9 million euros, and retail sales accounted for 4.4 million euros. Retail sales grew by 22% in comparison with August last year, wholesale volume grew by 2% and e-commerce sales grew by 163%.

 

Retail sales grew the fastest on the Latvian market, by 40%. Year-on-year growth on the Estonian market was 10%, on the Lithuanian market 24% and on the Russian market 27%.

 

As of end of August, Baltika operated a total of 122 stores, including two franchise stores in Belarus and 17 franchise stores in Ukraine.

 

Eight-month sales revenue amounted to 35 million euros, growing by 7% in the year-on-year comparison.
