Former Lenta.ru chief editor founds media project in Latvia

The new limited liability company Medusa Project began employing editors in August 2014 for a new online media site in Russian, according to newspaper Izvestia, as cited on yopolis.ru.
Medusa Project was registered in Latvia on June 10. Its share capital is EUR 2,800, according to information provided by "Firmas.lv". Timchenko is the only owner and board member of the company.
Izvestia reports that the company's legal address is 34A-12A Dzirnavu Street, Riga. The specific apartment is 200 square meters in area, hence, it is believed that the company's editors will operate out of this apartment.
The staff will partially consist of former employees of Lenta.ru. Reporter, editor, photographer and manager positions are still vacant.
