"AirDog" raises USD 1 million; will be provided with new feature

World's first auto-follow action sports drone "AirDog" has raised USD 1,044,260 (EUR 772,096) on the crowd-funding platform "Kickstarter" with about 1,070 backers, informs LETA reffering to the business portal "Nozare.lv".

The project's developers have come out with an announcement that all "AirDog" drones will be therefore equipped with a new feature that will allow "AirDog" to avoid various types of obstacles.


In order for the project to succeed, the required minimum amount was USD 200,000 (EUR 147,780).


The project was posted on "Kickstarter" on June 16, with the goal to amass USD 200,000 in 40 days.


As reported, "AirDog" has been developed by "Helico Aerospace Industries" and is equipped with a "GoPro" sports camera.


"Helico Aerospace Industries" was founded on June, 2012, and is owned by "Innovatio Capital" Last year, the company operated with a turnover of EUR 43,504.
