Print versionLithuanian Ambassador to Ukraine Petras Vaitiekunas was awarded by Lithuanian Business Confederation award The Business Ambassador for his contribution representing Lithuania's business and political interests in Ukraine and for active efforts in developing democracy in Ukraine, reports LETA/ELTA.

The award is bestowed for active promotion of Lithuanian business relations with foreign countries, representation of Lithuania's economic interests, expanding awareness about Lithuania's businesses, encouraging bilateral business promotions, assistance implementing business expansion projects abroad, searching for business partners and attracting new investment.
The ambassador was awarded during the annual convention of heads of Lithuanian diplomatic missions in foreign countries.
The award The Business Ambassador has been established six years ago.
