Latvian Traders' alliance Aibe doubles its turnover in 2013 and returns to profit

The company Latvian Traders Cooperation Aibe (Aibe) turned over EUR 17.54 million in 2013, reports LETA/Nozare.lv, referring to information provided by Firmas.lv.

Aibe turnover in 2013 increased twofold from 2012, when it reached EUR 8.44 million. The company managed to avoid losses, posting EUR 124,955 in profit, while in 2012, the company suffered losses in the amount of EUR 157,087.

 

The company's management report indicates that in 2013, Aibe implemented changes in its logistics center, increasing the range of goods, attracting new suppliers, expanding sales markets and acquiring new clients.

 

During the implementation of these tasks, the company carefully monitored costs and whether they were in line with the company's budget. As a result, Aibe achieved a reduction in administrative expenses in the amount of more than EUR 103,158. The expenses reduced from EUR 334,087 to EUR 230,694, or 31%.

 

Aibe was founded in 2002, and owns 463 outlets in Latvia. The company is involved in logistics, rendering various services and retail trade. Its share capital is EUR 24,188. The majority of shares – 91.94% – belong to Lithuanian company UAB Aljanses Aibe.
