UIA and Uzbekistan Airways agreed to conclude bilateral interline and code sharing agreements by late July 2014.

The airlines will jointly provide four weekly round trips on the route. Each carrier will be operating two flights per week. Notably, the inbound and outbound flights are scheduled so that the demand of both point-to-point and transit passengers will be met.

From 15 July 2014, Uzbekistan Airways will offer non-stop scheduled service between Tashkent and Kiev, while from 14 August 2014, Ukraine International will launch non-stop scheduled flights connecting Kiev and Tashkent. UIA-coded flights en route Kiev-Tashkent will be operated on Thursdays and Sundays, while Tashkent-Kiev flights will be operated on Fridays and Mondays.

The issue of providing UIA with airport slots was settled. At Tashkent International airport UIA obtained slots allowing the Ukrainian carrier to further develop its network and optimize flight schedules to serve its international markets.
