Alcohol, Analytics, Energy, Good for Business, Latvia, Markets and Companies

This year, the index ranks 42 Latvian companies in terms of performance, strategic planning, market relations, work environment, attitude toward environment and local community. The share of state and municipal companies represented in the index is small this year, same as in the previous index.

Two companies qualified for the "Bronze" category, 25 – "Silver", 11 – "Gold", but the highest rating and "Platinum" category was awarded to two companies – Aldaris and Latvenergo.

Companies that were ranked in the "Gold" this year are ABB, Cemex, Cesu alus, Grifs AG, Latvijas Loto, Neste Latvija, Olympic Casino Latvia, Rimi Latvia, SEB banka, Swedbank and Ventspils Nafta terminals.

This year, special attention was paid to equal opportunities for women and men in companies, thus, Society Integration Foundation presented awards for nominations "Most Successful Woman – Executive Director 2013" and "Most Gender-Equal Company 2013."
