Real estate transactions in Latvia in Q1 show 3.1% growth

During the first quarter of 2014, in comparison with an analogous time period last year, the total number of all real estate transactions in Latvia, has grown 3.1%, the summary of Land Register data analysis, provided by Latio, shows, cites LETA/Nozare.lv.

In the first quarter, the number of housing transactions has grown by 10.4%, including apartments, for which the number has grown by 8.4%, and single family homes – 20.8%.



 

The total of all real estate transactions in Riga, in the first three months of 2014, in comparison with last year's January-March, climbed 8.2%.

 

The number of housing transactions in the capital has grown by 7.9%, including apartments – 6.3%, and single family homes – 21.9%.

 

More than 2,200 housing transactions were made in Riga, during the first quarter of this year, almost 90% of them were apartments.
