Sweden is Latvia's 6th largest trade partner

Print versionIn 2013, total trade volumes between Latvia and Sweden reached EUR 1.2 billion, which makes the Scandinavian country Latvia's sixth most important trade partner, the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia informs, cites LETA/Nozare.lv.

The total value of Latvian products and services exported to Sweden in 2013 reached EUR 704.9 million, which was 5.1% of Latvia's total exports.
Meanwhile, the total value of Swedish products and services exported to Latvia reached EUR 483.2 million, which made up 3.3% of Latvia's total imports.
In comparison with the previous year, Latvia's exports to Sweden reduced three%, while imports from Sweden reduced 2%.
In 2013, Sweden's cumulative direct investments in Latvia reached EUR 2.4 billion, while Latvia's cumulative direct investments in Sweden reached EUR 18.2 million.
