Latvian East Metal steel company increased turnover by 22% in 2013

Print versionLatvian steel construction manufacturer East Metal Ltd. achieved EUR 42.43 million in turnover in 2013, which was by 22% more than in 2012, when the company achieved EUR 34.93 million in turnover, according to information from Firmas.lv, cites LETA/Nozare.lv.

In 2013, the company operated with EUR 2.48 million in profit, which was a six% increased when compared to 2012.
The company informs that in 2013, it began manufacturing parts for wind-turbines as well as supplier parts to many clients associated with its parent company in Denmark.
East Metal was established in the Latvian town of Dobele (central Latvia) in 1997, and another plan was opened in Daugavpils (southeastern Latvia) in 2006. The company is a subsidiary of Danish company East Metal Trade ApS.
